Security Concepts Services is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.

We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.

What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect include: names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and credit card details. This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including web contact forms, booking forms, by telephone, correspondence, by email, via our website http://n7j.16e.mywebsitetransfer.com and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties. Credit card transactions will be processed securely and no card details will be stored

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.

When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.

Sensitive Information

Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

Security of Personal Information

Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

Access to your Personal Information

You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing.

Security Concepts Services will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information

It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.

Payment Policy/Delivery Terms

Invoices will be sent for payment prior to the services being completed, 7 days prior to booking payment is required. If our services are booked last minute, payment will need to be made via credit card prior to services commencing. Payment is made in advance of services rendered.

If you require our services for longer than the pre-purchased amount of hours, then additional payment must be made 30 minutes prior to time extension by proof of bank transfer or credit card payment.

Minimum hire of four (4) hours.

If booking is made with less than four hours notice a 10% surcharge applies to the hire rates.

Any event that will require more than 12 guards, additional supervisor/s will be required and additional costs may apply. By completing our Booking Form, you agree to our standard terms and conditions.

Booking Form: Once the booking form is filled and sent, the booking is deemed confirmed. Cancellation of this
booking can only be done via email (info@securityconcepts.com.au)  4 hours prior to the start time. If the client fails to cancel this booking as stipulated by our cancellation policy, the client shall be liable to pay the whole booking fee

Refund/Dispute Resolutions Policy

Booking Cancellation and Refund Policy 2:

1-      Payment must be made on or before the invoice due date ( if not paid, your booking will be automatically cancelled)

2-      If booking cancellation is made 1 day or on the day of the event, we will charge 4hrs per guard as a cancellation fee

3-      If the booking is cancelled 5-2 days before the event, we will charge 2hrs per guard as a cancellation fee

4-      If the booking is cancelled 6 days-1 week before the event, there won’t be (only for booking of 1-6 guards)

5-      Where a large event that requires 7-30 guards– An invoice must be paid 14 days before the event, and we will charge 4hrs per guard plus an additional $200 administration and planning fee for any cancellation

If our client is not satisfied with our service and the services supplied were not to the standard we advertised, then we are happy to negotiate an appropriate refund. If we are late for the start of a shift or do not show up to complete the security service, a part/full refund for that shift will apply for the duration of time we weren’t providing our services.

Invoice Final/ Notice of Payment/ Late Payment Fees: Where we issue an invoice final notice of payment after a job has been completed, and the client fails to pay. We will refer the matter to Debt-collector Agency and an Additional 30% charge will be added to the invoice as Deb-collectors fees that the client must pay.

 

Where the client refuses all entreaties to pay the invoice within a week, from the date the Debt Collector contacted them. We will continue to charge 10% interest (every week) on the invoice until it is fully paid.

Finish Time: where a shift finishes earlier than the booked or rostered time, there won’t be a refund.

 Note: we do not issue a refund for documents purchased from our store or via email. We may offer to amend update the documents or provide the client with additional documents at our discretion.

Embroidery/Printing: we don’t issue refund for products/uniforms that has your company name embroidered or printed on them. We are happy to workout a mutually beneficial solution to your concerns.

Breaks: all Security, Crowd Control or Covid Marshal staff hired are entitled to a paid 30 mins meal or rest break for  shifts of 7hrs and over. This meal or rest break might only be taken when it is necessary, reasonable and practicable.

SERVICES RIGHT OF USE

Compliance Documents: Security Concepts Services Pty Ltd holds the exclusive rights and intellectual property rights of all documents listed and sold on our website, except in a case where it is listed as ‘Free.’

**All documents sale are concluded as per 1 client-business use only**

**We do not re-issue replacement documents 21 days after purchase and delivery/download of the documents. Our documents are continuously revised and updated. You have to repurchase the documents again, or we may offer you a discount***

All our compliance and training documents can not be re-sold or redistributed to a third party for commercial or other purposes without the explicit written permission of Security Concepts Services Pty Ltd.

**We do not offer refund for documents purchased in our store. Ensure you read the documents blurb before purchasing.

** We retain the original rights for all New, edited or updated documents made for our clients; except otherwise we transfer this rights to the client. This applies to past, current or future documents made.

Full and Partial Rights: Security Concepts Services Pty Ltd may in written format offer full or partial distribution and reseller rights to our client or an entity for our compliance and training materials.

Company Documents and Blog Post Use Policy

Every document purchased from our website or issued directly via email is assumed not to comply with your site, company, state or country Laws, Acts or regulations governing the industry you intend to use these documents unless otherwise stated.

Every buyer or purchaser of these documents must carefully read, edit and update them to comply with their site, company, state or country Laws, Acts or regulations and business practices.
